A string of exciting literary events seem to be popping up in Stillwater, and it makes a lot of sense given that April is National Poetry Month.

April 6th @ 7:30 pm
As part of the Arts & Humanities Speaker Series at OSU, poet and memoirist Molly Brodak will read from her book of poetry, A Little Middle of the Night. Brodak will read in the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room of the Edmon Low Library on the second floor.

April 11th and 25th @ 6:30 pm
Happening every second and fourth Thursday, the Oklahoma State University’s writing center loves to teach kids ages 8 to 12 how to put all their creativity into words, at the Stillwater Public Library.

April 13th @ 7:30 pm
Stillwater’s upbeat Town and Gown Theatre is ready to present To Kill a Mockingbird. Taking place during the Great Depression, this adaptation of Harper Lee’s beloved story of life in the deep south is riveting.
