Treat Yourself to the Tuesday Gardening Series at OSU’s Botanic Garden

Orange butterfly landing on orange flowers

With spring almost upon us, we’re sure you’re as eager as we are to hang up that winter coat and bask in the natural beauty of the great outdoors. Here in Stillwater, there’s plenty of nature to enjoy, but if you really want to cultivate an intimate connection to the flora that flourishes on our campus and in our city, you must check out the Tuesday Gardening Series at the Botanic Garden at OSU. On the second Tuesday of every month, from 6-7:30 P.M., you can join the expert staff at the Botanic Garden’s Education Building to learn the ins and outs of landscaping and gardening. Each Tuesday focuses on a different topic. Next up on March 13 is Garden Maintenance by Month and Plant Propagation; April 10 is DIY Garden Projects and Herbs; May 8 is Water Harvesting and Rain Barrel Raffle; and on it goes, all the way through October. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, you’re bound to finish the evening with your smile a little broader and your thumb a little greener.
