Yoga at the OSU Botanic Garden

Life in a college town can be very exciting, and if you’re anything like us, excitement can easily and unexpectedly turn into stress. Luckily, for the rest of the month of May, you can join longtime yoga instructor Carol Bender at the OSU Botanic Garden on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 to 6:30 for some restorative self-care amid the serene blossoming of spring. The event, which is free to all, includes guided relaxation, various meditation techniques, and gentle stretching appropriate for anyone in reasonably good health. You’ll want to bring a bottle of water, sunscreen, and a yoga mat. We’d also recommend insect repellent, if you know that insects tend to find you especially appealing. One of the added perks of the event is, of course, the surroundings. Before and after, you can partake in a relaxing walk around the gardens. If it happens to rain on Wednesday evening, don’t fret; the yoga will be relocated to the nearby Educational Center.
